Pacific Coast Quarter Horse Racing Association is a nonprofit trade organization incorporated in 1950 to represent California’s racing Quarter Horse owners and breeders. The association’s stated purpose is to:
- Encourage and promote the breeding of Quarter Horses and the sport of Quarter Horse racing.
- Represent the interests of horsemen before the California Legislature, the state horse racing board and in negotiations with racetrack management.
- Inform and educate the public about the Quarter Horse breed, and opportunities for racing Quarter Horses in California
